Catholic Education in Auburn
Auburn has a rich history of Catholic Education. Today, in Auburn, only two Catholic Schools remain. Although these schools operate independently of one another, Tyburn Academy and St. Albert Academy share a unity of mission and purpose as the only schools in the Catholic tradition between Syracuse and Rochester. Each school adheres to a governance model with a Boards of Trustees comprised of local community members who are able to make decisions in a precise and timely manner. St. Albert the Great begins the educational experience with grades PreK-6 and Tyburn Academy continues with grades 7-12. We believe that our shared mission provides a continuity in education for all of our students throughout their educational career and beyond.
